I grew up in Ames, Iowa, but California captured my imagination early. After visiting as a middle schooler, I promised myself I’d return—and in 2013, I made it my home.
Raised by two professors, I was surrounded by academia, yet I felt an undeniable pull toward the arts. My creative path revealed itself through hairstyling: first for my teammates on the dance and cheer squads, then for school dances where I quickly became the go-to stylist. By the time I graduated, I knew this was more than a hobby—it was my calling.
I trained at Paul Mitchell, where I honed my craft and earned my cosmetology license. Since then, I’ve specialized in two worlds I love most: bridal hairstyling and men’s grooming. Both allow me to combine artistry and transformation with something just as important—the human connection, which I believe is its own lost art.
Today, I’m grateful to call hairstyling not only my career, but my creative outlet and my way of celebrating people in their most important moments. I look forward to bringing that same artistry and care to your wedding day.
